Functional Skills Programs (English and Math's)

We understand that not every learner progresses in the same way, and that some students may need a more practical and accessible route to core academic achievement. That's why Heaven Learning Academy offers Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths at Level 1 and Level 2.

These qualifications are suitable for students who may be struggling to access the IGCSE curriculum, offering them a meaningful alternative that supports their educational growth and future opportunities.

 

  • Level 1 Functional Skills: Ideal for learners who need foundational understanding and real-life application of English and Maths.
  • Level 2 Functional Skills: Equivalent to a GCSE grade 4 or above, this level prepares students for college, apprenticeships, or employment.

 

Students complete these courses online through guided teaching, self-paced practice, and tutor support. Upon course completion, students sit an online, on-screen examination, and once they pass, they receive nationally recognised qualifications in English and Maths.

These qualifications are particularly valuable for learners looking to progress into further education, vocational training, or the workforce.
